Traditional grout creates a layer between the rock and the outer lining of the tunnel segment. If there is any movement of the earth traditional grout will pass along that energy to the tunnel and potentially crack the lining.
KM22 the patented mix design provides a grout that will absorb the movements and not pass them along to the tunnel segments. KM22 will also rebound if the earth shifts back after the initial compressive effort. No other mix design offers the same performance.
